I love this day. Dressing up, acting goofy, throwing parties. My 7 year old niece wrote to me this morning. One sentence: IT'S FINALLY HERE HALLOWEEN. That's how I feel. And I'm 29 years older than she is. I hope she never loses the thrill.
I'll have to post a picture or two this weekend (something new for me, putting pics in a blog, God help me). Some of us dressed up here at work, and then tonight there should be some good costumes at the party Anthony and I are throwing. And if he and his brother figure out a way to get a questionably legal fire going in the back yard, we might even have some people dressed up as cops and fire fighters attending! I wonder if they'll allow their pictures taken if that's the case. I might personally know that before the night is over.
